Where did Spring go?

Up here in the Northeast, we've had a Heatwave... wait, "heatwave" requires a certain amount of days above normal, or some big equation... okay, so we're on day 3 of 80+ degrees.

Summer is always a problem for me. The heat, especially the humidity makes it very difficult for me to function.

This summer is going to suck!

I'm already feeling tired and heavy. It's not too humid yet, luckily. But the more humid it gets, the harder it is to breath. On top of that I have to carry my daughter, who, as of her last doctor's appointment a week and a half ago, is now officially 17 pounds.

We are lucky enough to live in a house that has a pool. However, I'm not sure how to deal with that, since I'm not sure if O is ready to get in the pool, and I need my hands free to take care of S, who is still learning to swim, and uses floats. S got used to using them last summer, but we will still need a couple of times for her to get used to them again, not to mention that we have to get her a new bathing suit which will not be the same as last year's, so she will need to get used to a whole new system of floating.

I hate the summer.
